Where is the God of Elijah?

Where is the God of Elijah? The God of Elijah is with the bride of Jesus Christ carrying on with His work for THIS day. They are writing another book of Acts and believing all that the prophets have spoken because they have been turned back to the Apostolic fathers. They have the same faith in the Word of God, the same life, the same fruit of the Spirit, the same signs, wonders, the same everything they had in Acts.

That was the very purpose of the message which in turn gets the Bride ready for the rapture. It wasn't sent to make Message theologians that have nothing better to do than sit around and split hairs with one another over trivial matters. It also wasn't sent for us to garnish the prophet's tomb waiting for his return to straighten us out and give us faith for the rapture and a revival.

Once the Message was given, the Bride kept going forward with God, she didn't stop and die as they did after past revivals.

We can't wear a second handed robe as Elisha did. He was wearing a second handed robe when he came to the river, but he needed a brand new, first-handed call from God. And he needed a first-handed power from God to perform the miracle he needed. He cried out, "where is the God of Elijah?" He was wearing Elijah's robe, depending on Elijah's experiences. But he had to have his own not Elijah's.

Same with us today. We can't depend on Bro Branham's experiences alone. We need to cry out, where is the God of Elijah (Bro Branham!?) We need a fresh anointing today not just Elijah's. Not a second handed religion. God has no grandchildren only sons. People are trying to get by with Elijah's robe...but it won't work.

Just like the disciples couldn't just use their following Christ and seeing the great works of God done through Him, only. They had to go to Pentecost, themselves. They couldn't just sit around with a secondhand experience and read the words of Christ and talk of all the great and mighty wonders of God that He performed through Christ. They then became the Word of God for that day. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Elisha wasn't just satisfied with having that secondhand robe, having the mantle of the prophet. He wanted the same God, the same miracles and the same Spirit Elijah had before him. And it wasn't good enough for the disciples to just have been with Jesus. They wanted and got the very same Spirit Jesus had. "You shall receive power (Acts 1:8) after the Holy Spirit is come upon you." You're robed then as a Christian. After your faith is set in Christ, then you shall receive power.

Elijah's robe was good training, but that's not the end, it's just the beginning. Many people come into the message, take on Elijah's robe and think that's the end... they then fall asleep with no Oil in their lamps.

It wasn't Elijah who opened up that river. It wasn't his robe either. Elisha took it from his shoulder; he folded it the same way that Elijah did. But when he begin to wave it, there was no power in it. Then he cried , "where is the God of (Elijah) Bro Branham.
We don't need more theologians; we have that. But we need the God of Bro Branham. We need the power of the God of Elijah back in our lives.

People always look back at the God of Elijah and think it's wonderful but really need the God of Elijah themselves. What God did through Bro Branham is a painted fire today and I can't keep warm with just a painted fire, I need a burning fire today. That pillar of fire in the picture over Bro Branham's head is a literal painted fire, a photograph of the fire in history. But where is that same pillar of fire in 2012, not just 1959, that's history.

People make that prophet an idol and don't have the Power and God, they are always looking back and become impotent, powerless, having just a form of Godliness. Sure we have correct doctrines...but that same Spirit is a thing of the past. Backslid and lukewarm and don't even know it, the Oil has gone from the lamps, there isn't no more than a handful of deliverance ministries in the message move, gifts of the Spirit are almost extinct. The baptism of the Holy Ghost like they had at Pentecost is almost gone as well.

So, "where is the God of Elijah?" He needs to become the God of Elisha, not just Elijah. Elijah is gone. The bride has and will have the same Holy Ghost Bro Branham had. In fact, she has to have more. It's going to take more to be raptured in the end. Elisha had a double portion. They holler "blasphemy" and think I am taking from Bro Branham, or impersonation. But no, the rapture will take more of the Holy Ghost than the opening of the seals.

I believe the main thing that holds us back is keeping it all on Bro Branham, and not taking responsibility ourselves. We see Bro Branham's place, but what about ours? Peter didn't just have a testimony of walking with Christ in the Flesh....he had Him inside of himself and was a living testimony himself. Peter's shadow healed the sick, not when Peter testified about His experiences with Jesus but when he just walked by. Why? Because Jesus was not just history but inside him then, not just a secondhand robe.
If there's a hunger for it and it's scriptural, it's there to be had...when the deep calls to the deep, there has to be a deep to respond. The deep in Elisha called for the God of Elijah to manifest for him in that day and He did.

Now this messenger of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 is going to do two things. One: According to Malachi 4 he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers. Two: He will reveal the mysteries of the seven thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the seven seals. It will be these Divinely revealed 'mystery-truths' that literally turn the hearts of the children to the Pentecostal fathers. Exactly so. - LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE
