The Token
"The Blood shall be a Token for you. When I see the blood, I will pass over you, when I smite the land!"
The Message of the Message
One major problem I have found with most message followers is they love and follow the Message but not it's message. They love to hear about Bro Branham. They love to see quotes posted. They love to use the quotes for their own agendas. They love their churches. They love the pictures and the stories. But they love and follow "The Message" instead of it's message. The message of "The Message" is what's neglected. The message is not the message anymore, it's "The Message," which has become just another bunch of churches, quotes, stories and pictures instead of a message sent from God.
The messenger has become exalted almost to the position of Son of God, instead a humble sin born vessel used by God to deliver a message. That's to deliver a message from God, not start "The Message," which is no longer viewed as a real message. And Message people are no longer believers of a message but of "The Message" which has become just another sect instead of a message from God.
What is the message of the message? To most it's another religion. That's the same thing that happened to Pentecost. In the beginning, in 1906 Pentecost was an experience, then as it became more and more formal and settled into church, it became just another religion, and today being Pentecostal means you are part of a religion and not the original experience. The Pentecostals began to put the gifts and the experiences above the Giver and ended up forming just another religion and there it died.
Message folks began putting the messenger and the message above the Giver of the message and there it died as well.
The message is not another religion that Bro Branham founded.
Message definition:
1) usually a short communication transmitted by words, signals, or other means from one person, station, or group to another.
2) The substance of such a communication; the point or points
conveyed: gestured to a waiter, who got the
message and brought the bill.
The message was:
1) A short communication from God transmitted by Words and signs and wonders to man.
2) The substance of such communication.
If people could only see this, it would change their lives. But for most, it just becomes another religion they have joined instead of a communication between God and themselves.
